A young me started to draw. I drew and drew and showed everyone my art. I heard oohs and aahs from friends and family that fueled my passion, and it prompted me to keep creating. Then, I got older, cultivated my abilities in art and design, and started on my path to becoming an art director.
Then one day, I uncovered my old sketchbook. Ouch. It then struck me that I have some really kind friends and family, because, well, just take a look for yourself. That, my friends, is why I’m a true believer in lifting people up. Without the support of my scraggly self-portraits, I might just be doing something like math for a living.
With that, here are some things that I do:
• Bring my dachshund, Levi, everywhere
• Take lots of photos
• Paint old records
• Drink coffee. Vanilla latte with oat, anyone?
• Play lots of video games
• Spend too much time on Duolingo
• Add a plant to any space I’m in
