Half is the checkpoint, not the destination. Change isn’t set in motion by a story post that disappears the next day, it’s a continued effort. Buy From a Black Woman wants to remind activists that half-tivism is a real thing, and there is still work to be done. 

  • These social media posts were created to stop scrolling and increase engagement, as people have a general desire for closure.
  • OOH content is to be placed on billboards and bus shelters around the nation.
  • As part of the exhibition at the CAAM, these artworks are unfinished and require the use of an AR filter on Snapchat to complete them. The QR code to unlock the filter is included on guests' tickets for admission to the exhibit.
  • To streamline the donation process, additions were made to the Buy From a Black Woman website's UX design.
